Rugers New Mini-14 Target Rifle

This is my 1st try at setting up a new mini-14 with the "Harmonic Dampener". This is one fine rifle ! I believe you can make any ammunition shoot out of this rifle like it was hand loaded. In this case you tune the barrel to the ammunition ,,,, SWEET !

Here is a quick preview.

Very impressive. I've toyed with buying one of those plastic guns or the Ruger Target. Had a Mini-14 years ago and 2 to 3"s at 100 yds best, in fact my Wife's Mini 30 would group better. Think I'll take a closer look at the Ruger now. Thanks

I have had my mini-14 for many years. I don't think there is a more reliable auto loader made. The accuracy was so-so,,, then I read on one for the Mini-14 boards about this double muzzel break ???. They have them at cheaperthandirt.com for $19.95 ?? I put it on and couldn't believe the difference ! I put it on and off 4 times in one day. It cut the group size in half (or More). I don't think it has to do with being a break. I think the weight change on the end of the barrel tuned it some??? who know but it worked. This new Mini-14 is a bull barrel with the harmonic tuner. It is a dream come true. I didn't include the tuning proceedure I used in the movie . That was only a test to see if it made a difference. 150 rounds later and it was ready !

I want one

Spike,

You better stop posting things like this about the mini 14 or you`ll ruin it reputation.
