Obama Stepped in it again.....Big Time!
I thought I would pass this one along to all of you...
Again, I am not the author, just spreading the word.... ***************** Obama caught in BIG LIE concerning his Racist Pastor! BHO claimed today that he had never heard the good Pastor Wright make the inflammatory racist & anti-American comments that are making the rounds in the media. I guess Obama flat out forgot that he referenced that particular sermon (or one of many just like it) in his FIRST BOOK... ""Dreams of My Father" The title of Reverend Wright’s sermon that morning was “The Audacity of Hope.” He began with a passage from the Book of Samuel—the story of Hannah, who, barren and taunted by her rivals, had wept and shaken in prayer before her God. The story reminded him, he said, of a sermon a fellow pastor had preached at a conference some years before, in which the pastor described going to a museum and being confronted by a painting title Hope. “The painting depicts a harpist,” Reverend Wright explained, “a woman who at first glance appears to be sitting atop a great mountain. Until you take a closer look and see that the woman is bruised and bloodied, dressed in tattered rags, the harp reduced to a single frayed string. Your eye is then drawn down to the scene below, down to the valley below, where everywhere are the ravages of famine, the drumbeat of war, a world groaning under strife and deprivation. “It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!” And so it went, a meditation on a fallen world. While the boys next to me doodled on their church bulletin, Reverend Wright spoke of Sharpsville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House. As the sermon unfolded, though, the stories of strife became more prosaic, the pain more immediate. The reverend spoke of the hardship that the congregation would face tomorrow, the pain of those far from the mountaintop, worrying about paying the light bill… Get this news out there folks... It is not the lying that is the big issue here, it is Obama participating in a congregation that has a racist preacher. Why would he stay in that congregation and listen to a racist preacher. One of my cycling teammates made a racist comment on our team board and it kind of irritated me. Granted, that was the only time I have heard something like that from him, and it was in reference to a shooting down the street from him, so I let it slide. However, I don't think I would hang around somebody that is a racist.
Honestly, I am getting sick and tired of the entire color, religion, etc. issues that we have, and it isn't just in the US. Obviously, 911 was the result of a religious issue outside the US. Why is it that people are just so intolerant of other people's beliefs?

I appreciate freedom of speech a great deal. What better way to find out who the crazy people are ?
I'm not mad, I'm not offended. I just appreciate knowing where I stand and the Rev. made it a lot easier for me to find this out.

a few things in this.
1. Freedom of speech should not be moderated by the ommission of any word no matter what letter it starts with. 2. Common curtesy isn't common anymore. I have known very racist people who would still stop to help a person change a flat tire in the rain no matter what color their skin was. I don't know many who still would. 3. Freedom of speech does not mean I have to stand around and listen to your racist, arogant, supremist, or religous rantings. It just means you have the right to say them. It doesn't give you the right to hinder ANYBODY else from a job from an employer that isn't you, from walking down the street, etc. It does however give you the right to hire people of like mind. IE why WOULD an aethist want to work in a Christian book store anyway? And don't throw in the color card on me. I ate in a taco bell last night where there was not a single employee or customer other than myself who wasn't black. I didn't have a problem with it because they were working, but I find FAR more stores are 100% or nearly 100% black, mexican etc. You can't have a store 100% white, and God forbid you want all Christians of any color to work for you. Or non-smokers, or married adults, or single adults. You know folks some people just fit some jobs better than others. Married adults tend to be more responsible than single adults, Single adults tend to be able to work later hours than married adults, and YES I think ANY responsible adult with children SHOULD be given some extra considerations. Just as any responsible adults TRYING to have children should have some. Wendy's gives bonuses to its employees who adopt children. Nobody says a word. But let a company go pro-life and all hell breaks loose. (Man this one got longer than I intended) 4. Like it or not there is no room for a racist of any kind in the White house, and there shouldn't be room in congress. You might despise part of your consituancy, you still have to vote the way they want you to, and do what is in their best interest if their interest in the matter isn't clear. I agree with MT Pockets. I do appreciate freedom of speech. If people let you know who they are then you have a better idea who to talk to and who to walk away from. It is natural for people to flock to their own "kind". Be it race, color, religon, marital status, or just getting on a bulletin board about hunting because they like to hunt or like the outdoors. my 17 cents. GoodOlBoy

Why Obama Talks of Black “Anger” But White “Resentment”
[Marcus Epstein] During his masterful speech at the 1992 John Randolph Club, the late Murray Rothbard observed: Anger by the good guys, the accredited victim groups, is designated as “rage,” which is somehow noble…On the other hand, anger by designated oppressor groups is not called “rage,” but “resentment“: which conjures up evil little figures, envious of their betters, skulking around the edges of the night. Obama’s speech today did not directly speak about “rage”—just “anger”—but only with whites did he mention “resentment.” “Like the anger within the black community, these resentments aren’t always expressed in polite company.” “Just as black anger often proved counterproductive, so have these white resentments” Obama said the “anger” by blacks may be “counterproductive,” but he presents its as completely legitimate. He makes it clear that he thinks most black dysfunction is largely—though not solely—rooted in the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow. In contrast, while Obama tried to be conciliatory to white “resentments” by “recognizing they are grounded in legitimate concerns,” the only “legitimate” concerns he recognizes are economic problems such as healthcare and outsourced jobs—which he sees as the root causes. Illegitimate concerns are “blacks who were on welfare and too lazy to work, or Hispanics who were coming into the country illegally.” As Steve Sailer noted, Obama had to deal today both with Wright’s racial and his leftist demagoguery. The second, at least, remains unrepudiated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4rk8w_newt_news |

Obama is a commie.
His first reference to "we all have had our preachers say something we're uncomfortable with" hit me immediately... cuz none of my preachers was I ever ashamed of, so stop trying to trivialize your hate school. His second reference to his great grandmother saying things that made him cringe and comparing her in the same breath or light as his preacherman I found to so abhorrent I almost gagged. Obama's skated and lied his way through his entire carreer and like they say, you can always remember the truth but you can remember all your lies. This man is already lying to those he wants to lead.... We don't need another lier in White House... and especially one who would sell this country down the river. By the way, I don't begrudger Hillary or anyone voting for this war... it was the right thing to do. That they have changed their minds is their lack of courage... and Hillary's lack of courage... It's ok to want to out... but be honest about it... Unfortunately McCain is the man left.... Oh well, hope he doesn't trample on any more of our freedom rights. Aloha.. ![]() |
