Submitted my Draw

Put in tonight for my deer draw. GMU 15, 1st combined season.
Oct 17-24th. This is same area I couldn't get into last year due to weather. Guess I'll play elk by ear.

Good luck Dan. If all goes well, I'll be hunting deer on the Grand Mesa during muzzle loader and elk on the other side of the mountain from you in 1st season or 1st combined w/ OTC tag. I need to complete my applications and get 'em in this weekend!

Mike, good luck on your drawings . As many HC members are in the metro area, we are going to all get together and burn some powder some weekend!

Sounds good. Just name a time and place when the season gets closer.

My buddies and I should get a muzzleloader bull tag this year, we have 3 points each. We plan to go around Steamboat Springs, National Forest on our own. We started muzzleloader hunting elk 18 years ago, and could get the tag every other year for sure back then. Last time was 2004, some cow hunts and bow hunts fill in the gaps. My fall hunt was for moose in Wyoming last year, it is under other big game forum.

I rolled the dice this year and put in for Desert and Rocky Mountain Bighorns. Don't expect either but I just won a cruise to Alaska so what the heck.
