Russian 1944 Carbines

The surplus arms market never ceases to amaze me. I have bought several NRA mint Russian 1944 carbines with the accessory pack in the last year for $70.00 to $90.00. That same gun shop still has then in that condition for about $100.00.

Yesterday, I was in another gun shop and saw a beat up Russian 1944 Carbine for $209.00 as is. I asked if that price was firm and was assured it was solid. Once again, it pays to shop around. Take care...

Just curious, what is a 36? Could that be a Russian Model 1938 Carbine? Take care...

It is possible to pay just about any price for anything. It pays to know what things are really worth and shop around. All the best...

The Gun&Pawn shops down here are ridiculous - any milsurp that can shoot goes for $150 minimum.

Thank Goodness God created the C&R license.

Seawolf1090,

Welcome to the Forum; I see this is only your 3rd post.

I like to shop around for military surplus arms and appraise many for folks locally. I especially watch our weekly "Penny Saver" and have found lots of good deals in the ads. Once a shop gets hold of a military, the prices escalate.

Again, welcome to this site.

Adam
