Tag Draw
Well my son got his South Dakota cow tag but again this year this old boy came up empty on mine

Good luck to him. I have to find a new elk spot because the elk that didn't get eaten by wolves got chased out

Dang, for the first time in my life, I drew Nothing! Under subscribed area...1st Buck...2d...Doe. I was a little ticked until I
talked with a Deputy friend that lives a little south of where I hunt...Tremendous snows and die off....few tags in GMU 15. Bill said he averaged a 4' layer in the yard the entire winter. I had planned to hunt about 3K higher than him. Guess the snogods threw me a drop ball!!!!Time to change areas...it'll take this one 3/4 years to recover! Dan  Didn't even get my elk draw.......same choices...

Dan,
Sorry to hear about your luck of the draw, but even more sorry to hear about the elk die-off. Hope it doesn't affect us to the west of there - near Steamboat Lake and Bears Ears Pass. Got my tag (1st rifle antlerless) and I'm itching to go! Mike

Guy that was going with me drew deer/elk....I'm gonna go OC bull and work south end of 15. Call me hardheaded....Every time ya talk to DOW, ya get a differen story!!! He drew....so I'm obligated to go!!!LOL (sounds like a good story)
