multibeard,
I could not find a listing for Hopkins&Allen handguns in the 11th Edition of "Modern Gun Values." I suspect the .32 is nickel or blued with a 3 or 4 inch barrel. In the era 1890-1920, many inexpensive DA revolvers were made and most were actually advertised in the Sears Catologs of the day. Sorry I was not much help. Adam

The Dictator was made in .36 cal. percussion and .38 r.f. It was a single action revolver with a 4 in. barrel and 5 shot cylinder. Blued with walnut grips. The barrel marked Dictator. aprox. 6,000 precusion and 5,000 rimfires were made. I found it in a book form 1999 and in that year it was listed as being worth $ 350 in good condition and $ 75 in poor. Hope this helps.
