Good deal on the OTC tag. I love CO. I'm hoping to camp and scout over the Labor Day weekend. Hope to see a bunch of elk. Last year my buddy and I ran right into a herd of 80+. We were downwind to them and they were walking off not 30 yds from us.

Yup. I hope the winter kill wasn't too hard on the herd over in that region. I'll take the camera this time and see if I can photo some elk.

We came back from a muzzleloader hunt, just north of Gore. I killed a barely legal 2X4 bull, one 5 inch brow tine and the 4 points made him a shooter. Pretty quiet, no bugels, a few elk, 1 for 3 of us, unguided, all bull tags.

west bout 6 miles this time....south of Stagecoach. What were the
general conditions?
