A pair of Pennsylvania Flintlock Long Rifles.

Two middle-aged friends found a custom Pennsylvania riflemaker down near York, PA. I cannot recall the name just now. Both had custom .50 caliber flintlock rifles made and now they want some instruction on loading, firing, setting the sights and cleaning these $1,500-2,000+ Gems.

I went on a shopping spree for pan chargers, short starters, powder measures, possibles bags, cleaning stuff and whatnot for these guys. If we do not get rain this Saturday morning, the guys will be here using my backyard bench for their initial firing session with their rifles. I will try to get some photos for posting.

Both rifles will be taken afield in our October ML deer season stoked with patched roundball about like former rifles were used 230 years ago.
