how do I get back to the post on that date???

Val, use the search option, on the upper right of your screen. You can do searches by posters name, and sort by date.

Are you looking for a particular post from 4/1/2008 because you think 800+ people viewed it? The most users ever online means that there was 824 people viewing the board on 4/1/2008, but they could have been looking at 824 different threads that day and nobody could have posted a single thing on 4/1/2008.

I guess I kinda was...I wanted to just see if I could bring up that date and see what the topics were that day...to have 824 members or guest was alot to me...no big deal.....

My guess was it was a bad day for spambot trolling. I bet if you clicked on "members" and did a search for joined on that date, you'd see a whole lotta fake member names pop up.
