rubicons pups

Lee Anns babies were born a year ago ( thought I had posted but I guess not-= you know they say your mind is the second thing to go) 5 boys and 1 girl. Leeann had them in my bedroom beside my bed while I was at work and believe it or not when I got home there they were with the proud mother, no fuss no mess and did she ever like to show them off!I had homes for all six but two of the new dog owners just didnt seem right so I put the brakes on and didnt give them a pup. The little girl was really sassy and I started calling her Little Miss Molly, then there was this little guy who would run and hide and act comotose every time someone came to pick a pup- when they woul;d leave he would come to life and was the comedian of the litter. My grandson was always counting the pups- saying 1--2--3---4---5---Where is Six?. and you guessed it - he is named SIX. One pup went to a hunting buddy and with the help of the trainer mine are now with this dog is running multiples, marks, blinds on land and water and is a sensational dog. Time kept passing and kept saying I was going to find homes for Six and Molly but I got too attached and they now have a permenant home with me even though I have seen on animal planet that SPCA considers those with too many dogs hoarders?

Great post rubicon. Glad to hear that the dogs are doing great.

What is a hoarder, and is there really a law against having 4 dogs? Once we get a house, I plan on having 2 yellow labs, and possibly 3. All these stupid laws kill me. As long as the dogs are doing well and are treated well, who cares if you have 20 or 200. Now, if you have 20 or 200 and they are running amuck and they are malnourished, then I would say it is a problem.

Post pics when you get a chance, or e-mail them to me so I can post them for you.
