it is not only him but also the democrat controlled congress since 2006 that gets some or most of the blame, yea i know they blamed Bush for this Bush for that but the narrow minded newsmedia will always put the blame on the commander in chief if he is a republican , he could have had 200 attaboys while he was in office but the one awe **** that they dwell on makes it look bad for all concerned , i myself am a democrat and voted for McCain and many other people the days of voting straight party is over i say too bad the rest of the country didn't feel that way , lets just make it through the next 4 years of this cluster screw

Just like making an association with Obummers middle name and the one they hung from the gallows, why didn't the press and republicans capitalize on these things?...now I think if someone said the Hussein name is associated with the Arabs and oil producing countries, and then let this coal plant issue out there along with what he said his first executive order will be to stop the drilling of oil in Kansas, Just sounds like he plans on killing us from within....energy.....I would think yes...those that voted for him cause of skin color just put in office the enemy.... but most of them get government cash in the first place so it not effect them that much..gov pays for their heat, electric anyhow..well that also sucks......I also like how he associates his life with president Lincolns....the man that freed them...bet they will make whoopee on Lincolns bed in the white house...I don't know....just don't know...

Obama and his propaganda minister Rahm Emanuel have struck, removing the video, there are other places to read the message though, Lucianne.com, Worldnet daily and the Drudge report.
Simply search. Bill P.S. There are also articles out there warning Oblather about his ideas concerning the use of a Hitler youth group Movement and the consequences. It was written by a former Member of the Jungen Korps and a German youth during WW2. Reference Lucianne. com. and Worldnet daily. And no I don't post links. Everytime Obama opens his mouth he offers free ice cream. And 55% of the voters responding like the typical 7 year old want free ice cream. The other 45% of the voters are left wondering who is going to feed the cow. Last edited by BILLY D.; 11-19-2008 at 02:37 PM. |

Dont live in Wv anymore but does 18 years working in a deep mine count? the mine was owned by a power company so we were captive and had a constant market for our coal, or so I thought. the coal we mined was cleaned and traveled over a mile on an overland belt to the power plant silos. It was a good job and relatively safe working conditions for being underground and i intended to retire from that mine (we had 2 developed mines on the property with 30 years of coal reserves each and 3 additional mine sites which were not even started with at least 20 year production in them.) But our sulfur content was too high for emission standards even though the sulfur was not as high as the coal imported from japan which the power plant was allowed to burn. After a legal battle a decision was made that a power plant owning a coal mine was a monopoly and the mine was closed. During the duration of the mine m y friends and i made a decent living. When it closed I moved to the flat lands but many of my friends (mining co-workers) are still in the mountains scratching out a living as best they can working seasonal, minimum wage jobs in the tourist industry. And what really gets me fired up is now they are putting up windmills to generate electricity in that area, some of the locals got decent jobs installing and maintaining these windmills but beaurocrats are complaining they are an eyesore to the tourists who visit the area.

on windmills
they put up a whole park on top of Bald Moutain near Wilkes-Barre, my sister practically has them in herback yard now and yes they do make noise and already one leaked some kind of oil all over the area around it but that was hushed up pretty good to bad the energy generated is NOT being used anywhere in our area it is shipped out elsewhere, a waste of good habit and environment , at our next generations expense

Right here from my house I can see 2 Hydro power plants they had to have in our local river....Beaver River..yes they both work ..yes they both produce power and yes our electric bills have gone up just like the rest of the world because the energy is shipped to someplace else..(they did dig out the best fishing hole in the first dam of the Beaver River..from the Ohio..one thing they did accomplish)....I would think they could build one and supply the town it is installed in with a reduced rate.. (ah ha..that was the selling feature..)....now as far as coal mine owned by power plant..and not allowed to do that, why don't they just put the coal company in someone else's name?..Trucking places local do that..because they can't tie up every aspect of the industry, they just open another section in their wife's name...or son..or who ever...but goes into same pocket in the end...and why not employee owned?.Speaking of owning the coal mines in WVa land...but wait I forgot already...Obummer is going to close them all down anyhow....what is his angle?...stop the oil drilling...then shut down coal plants....just where is he going to get the power from?...

Justwanna...if you are talking about the 'coal has to go' video in the original post by TS......go to utube and in the search, type in Coal has to go.......it will show up there...unreal video too...should of been shown way before the elections...but still wouldn't of made a difference because most of the people that voted obama in...did so because of skin color and lots of them are under the 'cap' program through the publick assistance office..that means...they only pay a few bucks toward their electric bills and heating bills....gov (our tax dollars) pay the rest of their bills.....I myself am paying gas to heat a 4 bdrm house...and oil for another house....I can' t get cap...or any help at all....HELP......lol..winter is here too and can't shut them down because it will just destroy the homes without any heat ...

Nov. 21--Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland is standing by an agency director who OK'd improper computer checks for confidential information on "Joe the Plumber" and used state e-mails for political fundraising.
Strickland announced yesterday that Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Department of Job and Family Services, will be placed on unpaid leave for one month in response to an inspector general's investigation. The investigation found Jones-Kelley had no legitimate reasons to check on Toledo-area resident Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, who was popularized as "Joe the Plumber" by Republican presidential candidate John McCain. It also confirmed she improperly used her state e-mail account to raise campaign money for President-elect Barack Obama. Some Republican leaders, who cited the report's findings to call on Democrat Strickland to fire Jones-Kelley, were stunned that she will remain on the job. "The actions described in this report cross the line of what you can do and lead a state agency. She violated the public trust," said House Speaker Jon Husted, R-Kettering. "The governor's lack of firm action here sends a message he is going to be tolerant of a state government that acts in inappropriate ways. He promised a higher standard and this is a lower standard." State Auditor Mary Taylor also called for stronger action. "I urge Gov. Strickland, who campaigned on the promise of running an ethical administration, to ask for the resignation or terminate Ms. Jones-Kelley immediately," she said yesterday after the report was released. Strickland said that while he accepts the inspector general's findings, he values Jones-Kelley's contributions over her career and decided on what he called a "fairly severe" but fair penalty. "Now, she's made a bad judgment and I've acknowledged that," Strickland said. "But I do not believe that a lifetime of honorable public service can be just discounted in the face of what has happened." The governor also issued a directive to state agencies to better control access to information the state holds on Ohioans. The report by Inspector General Thomas P. Charles found that Jones-Kelley "had no legitimate agency function or purpose" in authorizing the checks. It said the reasons Jones-Kelley offered for the checks in child-support, public assistance and unemployment tax databases "were not credible." According to a transcript of an Oct. 28 interview with investigators, Jones-Kelley said she ordered the checks based on media calls that the department was getting as a way to be "proactive." "It's just that somebody hits notoriety very quickly and you do these kinds of checks to make sure that taxpayer dollars for which we have responsibility are being appropriately handled," she said, adding that it had been done for three or four other people since she has been director. The report found no evidence that any information on Wurzelbacher was improperly shared. Investigators said they could reach no conclusion whether the checks were politically motivated. "However, the circumstances surrounding the unauthorized searches are exacerbated in light of the director's sending and receiving e-mail related to a political activity through state resources," the report said. Strickland placed Jones-Kelley on paid leave Nov. 7 after e-mails requested by The Dispatch revealed she used her state e-mail account to help raise campaign money for Obama. The inspector general's report found that the e-mails violated Strickland's policy on political activity and constituted a "wrongful act" as an inappropriate use of state resources. The report also faulted other agency employees for their role in the computer checks on Wurzelbacher. The report found that assistant agency director Fred Williams and Doug Thompson, a deputy child-support director, bore some responsibility for the checks run the day after the Oct. 15 presidential debate. "Thompson's conduct is further called into question" by his directing a Job and Family Services employee to send a "deceptive" e-mail to another agency official explaining that the check she ran on Wurzelbacher was for child-support purposes. Charles' report recommended more stringent steps and policies to govern access to confidential information on Ohioans in agency computer systems and called for the creation of an audit trail to determine who is running checks on whom. Legislative Republicans have introduced related legislation. Charles said his report would be sent to the office of Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien for review. Jones-Kelley could not be reached for comment. Her attorney, Ritchey Hollenbaugh of Columbus, did not return telephone calls. Wurzelbacher became a national political fixture after he questioned Obama's tax policies during the Democrat's campaign appearance in the man's neighborhood. McCain then frequently referred to "Joe the Plumber" during his Oct. 15 debate with Obama. Jones-Kelley said there were no political motives behind the checks. She had contributed $5,000 to the Obama campaign in late July.
