Our Job Tomorrow
Remember to vote on Tuesday!
As an aside, following is a decent editorial from the Kent State University (where I work) student newspaper, The Daily Kent Stater, that says much: http://media.www.kentnewsnet.com/med...-3520198.shtml Enjoy your privilege tomorrow, I know I will. |

Sounds like somebody at Kent State has their head screwed on straight. I like the way the author did not make any statements along party lines, or a blah, blah about who to vote for. The young gentleman deserves a BIG pat on the back. Best wishes, Bill |

Impressive amount of insight from a presumably young person. Certainly makes you want to take responsibility to vote.

It is unusual for the publication, but certainly refreshing and appropriate.
I got to my polling place at 6:15 this morning, and there was already a line about 100 deep. There are four precincts where I vote, however, and there were many more booths set up than ever before. I only waited about 30 minutes before I was able to fill out my ballot, the lines moved pretty quickly. They certainly seemed prepared this time. Should be record numbers of voters turning out this year. It is a good thing to see. |

Because of the distance I am from work and the liberals I work for I took an hour of vacation this morning. Took my time, got to the polls, voted, and got to work "early" with breakfast in hand.
Lets hope McCain can pull off a miracle win. GoodOlBoy

I live in MN and I've got a tough Senate race to worry about. I really don't want Al Franken to represent my State. We've already got the liberal Amy Klobachar in the other Senate seat, and she can't even use the restroom without getting permission from Pelosi....wish us luck.
