Absolutely incredible

I usually don't post links to youtube but I had to share this. Morse code vs text messaging. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQaXj...eature=related

That is awesome. I hate text messaging, but I tend to use it once in a while when I really don't want to spend a lot of time on the phone. What is nuts is that I see people doing it for 30 minutes straight sometimes. If one or two sentences cannot get it done, I think it is time to pick up the phone and call. When I see people texting in the car it drives me crazy.

Heard all sorts of noise coming from my son's room last night. He was texting three different people and using two instant messenger programs to talk with friends while playing on online video game. Never missed a beat. Constant beeps, bells, whistles and sirens going off. I almost grounded him for irritating me.

BTW, all but one were all girls. I had to take a minute and go over some ate-a-cat with him. I really stressed his conversing with the daughter of one of my friends. I reminded him of our last trip to the range and how well her father shot.

He says these are the worst days of his life. HA!

Hey...Morse code..still in use..yee ha..that is what I did lots of back in my army days..since I was NCS in the communications field...70 letters a min...and at times had to copy and send for 3 days and nights...3 of us..did 15 min bouts...all can stand in one sitting..glad to see it still working.....interesting...NOW..there is a spot in the woods I can sit under a tree and hear code....Is same call letters over and over..but can hear it...and have to move..I was hoping was a 'sign' with lottery numbers..but no luck there..lol..
