PA Flintlock Deer Season 12-26-08 to 1-10-09.

In a couple weeks we will have our traditional flintlock deer season here in PA.

We got 10 inches of snow last night, so I can go scout a bit to see where the deer are running around the woods. My favorite flinter is a .54 Hawken stoked with 75 grains of 3F Goex and a patched ball. I rarely see another hunter in flintlock season here. Better yet, we can wear traditional garb while hunting instead of that orange stuff.
