Remington model 141 carbine value

OK guys, I need some help. I've been offered a Remington model 141 in .35 Rem. (price hasn't been discussed yet) and I need to know the value. I will have pics tomorrow or sunday. As soon as I can post pics, I will. In the mean time, a rough estimate would be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Remington 141A Gamemaster made from 1936 to 1950. Awful lot can affect value,i.e.; finish, blue, bore condition, but I would think $400.00 would be a fair start.

Paid $350 for mine about 10yrs ago and it was in very, very good shape.

If you get it, you'll love it. Of all the rifles I have, it is the one I carry most. IMO it is just about the perfect eastern deer rifle. Light, fast handling, fast shooting etc.

I have loaded the .35 Rem with pistol bullets and it is a hoot. For plinking and stalking the local mountain dump, it's the neatest thing since canned beer.

They just don't make rifles like that anymore.

OK,

Here's a pic. It has a williams peep sight, leather sling, and what can only be described as a carved leather cheekpiece - very nice.

Easy $400-450, maybe alittle more. Very nice rifle. Mine is a full length barrel, that carbine should be fast and slick.
