Lilred's Rant of the Year--2008 in Review

Ahhhhh....2008.
What a blessed year for the average, regular ole conservative. You know...the ones who still think that if somebody slaps ya,
you kick their arsh insteada stittin down and cryin. Yep, them poor folks.
Yep, I know what you're thinkin...if they slap the assailant back, they might hurt them. Cruel aint it?
Yeah...anyways...back to the subject at hand.
2008 saw some interesting firsts across the country. Gun bans, gay marriages, and the first man to get pregnant!
How sweet! He must be so proud! And you can you imagine how proud his child will be over his mom...er..dad...er
bi-liginualsexualpartisanpedalthingamajiggy?
Awwww....
Um...what ever happened to good ole clankers?? Ya know?? When men were still men! WOOT! Rock on gentlemen...you're a dyin breed.

Oh and we can't forget the news headlines. Which, dependin on wether you were a jackass or a big taxfat elephant side you were on,
varied with every channel. It was so obvious how partisan each network was to each politcal party, and the values that went
along with them.
I heard that the liberal networks are airing a new show for 2009 that we can all look forward to. It's chock-full of news-you-can-use
like how to have a baby no matter which sex you are, hug trees and any/everything else you come across, (which goes with men havin babies)
gay is great, god sucks and no matter what...you never..EVER raise your hand at a single livin creature! Like that pit bull
that is chewin your hand off...ewww...watch out there honey.

On a much sadder note...2008 also took some beloved people with it. Charlton Heston, George Carlin, Jerry Reed & Paul Newman to name a few.
Now they were MEN. Roy Schieder...the fella from JAWS died in 2008. We lost Bo Diddley too.
We also lost hundreds of thousands of innocent cows, sheep, fish and houseflies. Dear God what have we done....
Oh wait...that's right...we ate em. Well, except for the houseflies. They just had a surplus population. I am sure the average vegetarian
also had a hand in decreasing the excessive housefly population when they landed on their tofu burgers this past summer.
What a tragedy...

I think 2008 was one of the most controversial years we, as one nation, UNDER GOD (muwhawhawha),
has faced in recent years. But enough dwelling over the past. Let's look forward to a new year. Maybe, just maybe, the dwindling
conservative population in the United States can take some small stand and let their voices be heard! Preach the word of common sense!
Let the fellas clankers clank, make whiskey and cut wood! Let the ladies swat flies, pluck chickens and butcher meat till the nation
is back at peace and has some form of pride and dignity. WHOOAH!

Lilred,

Great Post!

I am a good Conservative and cut lots of wood for the living room woodstove here on the farm. I would "clank" my "clanker" if I knew what a clanker is. Would you please translate "clanker" for me? We Pennsylvania folks don't know them foreign words.

Happy New Year!

Adam
