We don't have time to hunt, so 'shoot' this way when we can These aren't my best pics, but it's all I have up on photobucket right now.

Spent some time in the Beautiful state of Alaska. Lived north of McKinley Park..I know I know..it isn't McKinley anymore but that is what I will always call it. I was a little South of Nenana near a place called Anderson. But that was quite a few years ago.

I know where Anderson is. I actually never did call it McKinley, it always seemed like the native name suited it better than the Americanized name. I have quite a few pics of her too...

These pictures are beautiful. I can't wait to get back up there next year. Heading back up to SE Alaska for a bear hunt. There is definitely not a place on earth that has the same scenery.

Are those Gyrfalcons in that first picture? How close to the moose calves were you?

Thank you

Those are immature bald eagles in the first pic. The baby moose? No more than 50 feet, mom was NO WHERE around, we checked the area for 10 minutes before I started taking pics.

Nice pics Wolfwoman, thanks for sharing. I've been to AK once and look forward to returning. Beauty beyond belief for those who've never been there.
