Post 22 ammo review in 10/22 carbine.

All shots were fired from sitting with rifle pulled up in a standard position as though I was standing (can't stand at the range we go to because you have to stay inside the booth and there is not enough room by the bench) ANYWAY. 25 yards. Iron sights. High wind (had to fire between gusts)

CCI Stinger 32 grain HP 1640 muzzle (website stats)
2" group, 3 3/4" high 10 shots.

CCI Velocitor 40 grain HP 1435 muzzle (website stats)
2" group 4" high 20 shots.

Winchester SuperX SuperSpeed 37 grain HP 1330 muzzle (website stats)
2" group 4" high 10 shots.

Winchester SuperX SuperSpeed 40 grain RN 1300 muzzle (website stats)
2 1/4" group 4" high 10 shots.

Remington 22 subsonic 38 grain HP (no posted velocity) (website Stats)
2" group 2" high 20 shots.

Remington 22 thunderbolt 40 grain RN (no posted velocity) (Website Stats)
2" tall 5" wide group 3" high 20 shots.

Remington 22 Golden Bullet 36 grain HP (walmart valuepack) (no posted velocity) (website Stats)
1 3/4" group 4" high 20 shots.

Federal 22 plated HP unkown grain weight (don't have the box with me) and not listed on the website (walmart valuepack) (no posted velocity) (no web stats)
1" group 4" high 20 shots.

Aguila Super Extra Subsonic 38 grain HP (no posted velocity) (no web stats)
1" wide group 6" tall 2-4" high 20 shots (always fail to eject completely)

So basically it shoots most any decent ammo better than I do. This test was started with the barrely having just over 50 rounds fired through it previously. I used the standard iron sights, and had no modifications to the gun. I am pretty pleased all in all. I think once it is broken in, and I get used to the trigger on it then I am really going to enjoy feeding it pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I will say I was surprised at how well the el cheapo federal 22 plated hps from the 550 rounds walmart valuepack shot.

Did you have any falure to feed in the Remington 22 subsonic 38 grain HP. My model 60 marlin has a hard time with these.

My 10/22 fired real small groups with CCI Standard veloicity LR(Bagged, scoped and indoors) but being a hunter I changed to WW Power Points. Accuracy opened up a little but was still good. I'm sticking with the Power Points.

No failure to feed with the Remington Subs in my 10/22, but yes my old marlin model 60 had issues with them as well.
