Thanx for caring, but no flooding in the city proper. Some towns didn't fare so well. Towns East and North of here flooded.

We had a record 101" 's of snow this year.

Grand Forks and Fargo usually get hit the hardest by flooding. The Red River of the North has nowhere else to go except North to Lake Winnepeg in Canada. The Red River Valley is very flat topographically. The land is very fertile for farming. Lots of Taters grown there.

As for the not answering, I've been fighting some medical problems the last few weeks.

I have been diagnosed with cancer in my right lung. At this time it is not spreading and appears to be non-malignant. But I am scheduled for slice and dice next week. I had a PET, Full Body Scan done and there is NO cancer in my beautiful bod anywhere else.

Considering my life I'm surprised it hasn't shown up sooner. I was subjected to Agent Orange Showers on a bi-monthly basis. Actually I consider myself lucky.

None of my kids have/had shown up with birth defects and the grand and great grand kids are all healthy. I thank God each night for that.

Diabetes and Spina Bifoda (SP) and Prostate Cancer are secondary illnesses from AO. I have also had pneumonia on more than one ocassion and have been exposed to Ammonia Gas on 2 ocassions. Once in combat and once from a Train wreck here in Minot.

So, like I said, I count my blessings and thank the good Lord I didn't catch it sooner.

Best wishes and thanks for your concern, Bill

One thing I forgot to add. Always remember, " God takes care of little kids and Polacks".
