Kimbers in 40S&W
I perused the Kimber website yesterday and noticed that they have nothing advertised in 40S&W caliber. In a fairly recent hard-copy catalog, they show several 1911-type handguns in 40S&W, including full-size and compact SAs (e.g., Pro Carry models).
Has Kimber really dropped the 40S&W caliber in their 1911s? They do show a few in 9mm. If they have stopped making 40s, that probably was an indication that they weren't selling. I know the 40S&W still very popular but wonder if all the interest is in DA and striker-action platforms? Also, does any other manufacturer make a 1911 in 40S&W? 270man |
