Dan,
If you get it to work come back and tell us. My travel trailer heater at the farm is doing the same thing. The stove lights up just fine but the pilot light will not stay lit on the water heater / heater and we are not that far from a heater need. I am also getting tired of cold showers but with the hose warmed by the sun, it ain't to bad right now.
Best,
Ed

http://forum.doityourself.com/archiv....php/f-70.html look around on this site..is where I find info for everything from how to time the mag on gas farm tractor to when my electric water heater acted up..had replaced both upper elements, new thermostat but about every 2 days the breaker would trip..well..what I needed to do was set the top element temp a little cooler than the bottom one..and that was the trick..guess when both turned on same time, trip breaker..who would of thought that simple fix..got it at this site..lots of mower info..boat motors.weedwhackers..anything you think of..and glad your fix was an easy one. RV fridge work/not work..turned out be the circuit board..after Rv dealer said replace whole thing for $800..cost me 25 cents to replace a pc in board..found that on this site too..
