Grouse

We have been doing good on the sharptails this season and the dog has gotten a hard workout in the western grasslands.

We have taken a few Huns also but I only take one or two birds out of a flock as you can wipe them out with persistant hunting on the coveys.

Mine came from WW2 from my Dad. They are the best and you can carry 30 rounds on them .

Darn Wrenchman, you make me feel older than I am. My great grandpa, started his 32 year Army career with a 1858 ML Springfield, my grandfather carried a 1884 Springfield to Cuba. I carried an M1 rifle and M2 carbine in Korea. Think it is time for me to get another cup of tea and my comforter, then my morning nap.
