Thumbs up Got to meet Adam Helmer

Anytime I get the chance to meet an HC member, especially a moderator, I値l jump at the chance. I had the pleasure of meeting HC moderator Adam Helmer this past week since I just happen to be working, literally in his back yard. The bad part was we only got to swap stories for about 30 mins, but fortunately I値l get to head out to his farm probably next week. I enjoyed the time we did get to talk. It痴 always nice to put a face and voice to a name, especially after conversing on HC with someone for like 5 or 6 years. Who knows, I may even bring out the long range gun to fire a couple rounds on his range with him next week. I値l be spending more time out his way so I知 sure we値l get to swap a lot more stories in the time to come.

I always said HC has the best members and staff, and every time I meet one, they are just as friendly in person. Adam was no different, and I can稚 wait to sit down again for some serious conversations about hunting, fishing and shootin. I little less work is in order next time!

Petey,

As I said on the phone to you last evening, I will let you "Blow our cover" about our meeting. I am very glad I met you in person.

I am happy you will be in my area for a while. Please feel free to come ring my 400-yard hayfield gongs anytime. I must say again, I am glad I met you. Be well.

Adam

That's a fact; I was lucky enough to meet Rocky Raab a few years back. We sat down and had some steaks and beers and chatted for a good couple hours. Great time I hope to repeat one day soon

I think I only met one besides Captain.. but have met some from other forums..

I really hope somebody is from the east this way one day..

Or I might just have to have someone that way guide me for a bow turkey hunt one year.

I have met people from other forums I go to but I don't remember if any are from here. I would like to have a cup of coffee with Rocky the next time I'm up that way to visit my daughter in Logan. should be a fun time.

I was lucky enough to go on a coyote hunt with Rocky a few years back. We had a great time in the Idaho mountains in Jan. It got up to 20 degrees above one day. Just right for sleeping in a tent.

Good stuff

Maybe we can plan on some regional "meet and greet" sessions in the future. I would like to see who you folks are. Take care...
