Question Redfield scopes

I two separate pawn shops I got a couple Redfields, that need to go to Tulsa, to Iron Sights for repair.......anyway........

One is a Pardner 3-9x with 1/4" adjustments

and

Tracker, with friction plates, also in 3-9x

Which one would you put on a Mauser 98 Sporterized (in .243)? I am leaning toward the Pardner because of the adjustments. But I think the Tracker would look nicer (yeah-yeah I know it ain't about looks). I plan on Weaver rings & bases.

Wadda ya think?
