Dan,

What all are you chasing this year? Hope everything goes as planned and good luck on the hunt.

I will more than likely be chasing elk with my bow in an OTC unit (I have 5 points) and thinking about 2nd season unit 40 for deer. I have 5 points for bear, but I am not sure if I am just going to put in for another point or go ahead and draw the tag.

Good luck to all on the draws and this years hunting seasons.

Quinton

Pvt land for Buck and Bull....put in second choice for doe and cow PL...........same place I went last year.Undersubscribed on all counts. Couldn't get DOW to accept only 2 choices.... Place is only 15/20 minutes from my driveway.
Thanks for the wishes.

Hey, good for you Dan. You're way ahead of me. Can't make up my mind about what I want to do. I have 2 pts for elk; enough to muzzleload in Routt NF so I might do that, but that would leave out my hunting partner...
Will also hunt deer, likely on the Grand Mesa (GMU 421). Saving pts on bear and pronghorn.

Red face Finally sent mine in

Well, I finally filled out my applications on-line. Nothing like waiting until the last minute... Hoping to get tags to hunt elk and deer with muzzle loader in the Routt NF near Steamboat Lake. If we're lucky, ML season will coincide with the rut.

I sent off a large check for CO non-resident desert sheep tag on Saturday. I have 6 or 7 points for sheep but no points are being used for the desert sheep tag. I am guessing about 4000 applicants for the one tag, but it is the holy grail for sheep hunters.

MntMike,

I just sent all of mine off yesterday also, along with the wife and kids'. I use to be the one who sent mine in as soon as I got my book, but I found it doesn't matter when you send them in, it does not help.

Good luck to all who put in and good hunting !
