Springtime n Thuh Rockies

Rescued the wife with a flat....we got home about 30 minutes ago.Have 6"+ of global warming on the deck...this in about 1 hr....snowing horizontal and 50' visibility......correction, make that 8"+......ya gotta love it!LOL

Dan, My brother lives in Littleton and claims to have had about 17" a short time ago plus the lastest snowfall.

We had about 5" of rain last weekend and flooded everything. Basements are full. Rivers are out of their banks. The whole nine yards.

You can have keep your global warming. I'll take the rain.

I heard about the Colorado snow this morning on the news. That stinks! For once it's nice to be in Northeast Ohio with mostly sunny skies and low 50s!

Duffy, I don't know about Colorado, but I always tell people in Wyoming not to complain about the nice wet spring snow. We should take moisture however we can get it because it becomes so valuable in July and August.

This has been what you might call a cardiac snow ... like shoveling a slurpee 12" deep. Up here on the north end of the Front Range the roads were clear by noon yesterday, we have a new system lining us up for Saturday and temps in the 60's next week. For you folks in the east, prevailing winds are westerlies, in other words, moisture is coming.

LOL...to celebrate GW....shoveled a way to smoker and grill....Safeway had a good price on London Broils,,,,,picked up several packages n froze. Wife produced some German Sausage....left over from her cabbage n sausage...(I cannot stand the stuff...don't tell her that) We simismoked a LB n sausage, baked a couple of taters....man...that is tender n good!I'm not gonna let snow get me down! (couldn't get temp in smoker above 250...that n Mesquite chunks...a couple of Bourbons/water n about 1 1/2 hours)
