Pheasant 2010

I went back to the Eastern part of South Dakota last week (Aberdeen) and saw tons of pheasants from the river east and should be another good year. I took in a Pheasant forever fund raiser while I was there and baught a celebraty hunt in November and that should be a blast.

Pheasant hunting starting to look grim in North Dakota. CRP around here is almost nonexistent anymore.

I have heard that a ton of CRP was lost in your state this year. South Dakota is still holding its own thank goodness. When I was a kid and the pheasants were thick as flies we had what the called Soil Bank and was about the same as CRP. WHen that went out in the late 60's the pheasants went with it until CRP came along.
