Mag 10..
I've had a bit of experience with 'em.shot one or 5 for a number of years. First off..does the one you are looking at or own have a Dash 1 in the serial number?? Denotes a recall done.. If not (it'll be either before or after the seial number) be careful..they have been known to go off just sittin there loaded..safety on and all

I will have to check it out. I saw one in a local gun shop and the price was pretty low. It has a plain stock (no checkering) and no vented rib. It has been used as there is pitting on the receiver and bbl. Didn't look at the bore though. It must have been used on the gulf coast for geese.

Well the 10 is a great goose gun for certain. Good for duckies too..specially pass shooting of both. A bit of overkill on decoying birds. I carried one for quite a while for crips etc and passing birds. If you are a good 'nuff shot it is good even with steel for geese up to 75 yds..Large steel. BBB and larger. For a plain bbl'd gun do not pay too much...especially if it is pitted up a bit. I got a really nice Deluxe gun with 10 boxes of shells last year for 450 bucks. If it breaks..parts are kinda hard to find. Ithaca made some good guns..and a couple of really bad ones. The Mag 10 is one of the better ones..the Ithaca 51 is a REAL DOG
