Surplus rifles are hard to find around here

I have been to several gun shops and the racks were about empty. Original military rifles were absent. A few sporterized Mausers were present but too rough or too expensive. I hate it when that happens. Take care...

Same here, Joe.....those Enfield Jungle carbines are going for $300+, and they are beat to hell! Even the ones that you can't find ammo for (such as the 7.5 french something or other) are going for top dollar......

I hear you

The shops that I use are about dry on decent surplus rifles. They have some Russian rifles and a few Enfields that look like they were dragged here from overseas. Once in a while something decent shows up and it sells almost immediately for top dollar. All the best...
