Yard Sales and Auctions.

Yep...yard saleing again..and an auction. Only found the container of 16 ga slugs at the yard sale..almost 300 rounds..Some Winchester but most is Federal and then 18 boxes of Factory 30-30 ammo. Gonna sell most of it. Did the auction later..they had 3 guns in it. One was a Weatherby MkV in 270 Weatherby mag.. It sold for a fair amount at 875 bucks but I didn't buy it. It had a 4X Leupold on it. there was also a High Standard Sport KIng with box papers receipt etc with it..but I let it go at 375. I did bid on and purchase another Ruger 77 Tang Safety model RS in 257 Roberts. Unfortunately the rear sight had been removed and it had a Leupold 8x with AO on it. Paid 375 for it. The wood is dinged up a bit but it will make good tradin stock with the Trashco scope it is gonna have on it tomorrow. Tomorrow I am going to buy a Winchester 94 Commemorative. 26 inch 30-30 of course in the box etc papers and all. Paying a bit much at 475 but I want it for a shooter. Looks like a 64A Win in gold color(Lone Star??) at about half the price.

Should make a shooter that's for sure. I have a Savage 219 in 30-30 with a 26" barrel and an excellent shooting rifle. Had to but a receiver sight on it though. I always liked 94s, 64s 7 55s with the longer barrels. If lived closer I'd take the 16 ga. slugs off your hands.

Yep..I knew you'd be panting a bit over that. Mostly Remington with some Winchester. If ya need some let me know. picked up the Win 94..Unfired condition still in the box..Lone Star Commemorative.. Ugly for a shooter with the Brass plated receiver..pretty fer a collectible. I can put some cold blue on the receiver and turn it black Gun is lighter than I thought it would be.. Gonna stick er out the back winder this winter and get me some venison.. Heck I could do that with a 22 LOL

Naw I'm good skeet, but I appreciate it. Heck since I got my reloading setup going at the house I ain't bought nothing but 20 guage, and 22lrs. Gonna hafta get me a 20 guage reloader at some point just so I can afford 7/8ox #6s. Price tags down here on shotgun shells have gone unreasonable. Winchester low brass 20 gauge #6 7/8 field loads (IE el cheapo) are not running $13 a box! What the heck! Last year it was $6 and two years ago it was $4 a box.

Yep the 30-30 will certainly do the job.
