Well did the yard sale circuit ...Again

I did really good this time... Got a nice Colt Trooper in 38 special(paid a bit too much at 275)and a Ruger 77-17HMR w/2.5x10 Trashco paid a very fair price at 250 and the fellow gave me 3 boxes of ammo less the 12 that have been shot in the rifle... and a new in case Beretta 391 in 20 ga. Mainly bought it for a friend though as he's been lookin for a nice 20 semi.. Even if he didn't want it I could take it to the next gun show..or maybe sell it to Fabs. Nah he's too cheeeeep. but a NEW 391 20 for 700 is still something to make him look twice. and to help this all along I got 38 boxes of bullets for 150.....10 sets of dies for 10 bucks each and some more ammo of all sorts(surprisingly 3 boxes of 16 ga) but..especially 3 boxes of 221 Fireball for 10 bucks. The joker in the deck was 5 boxes of 225 Win for 8 bucks a box..but I know where an Encore bbl in 225 is. Also got brass for my 30 Herrett and 357 Max(like I needed it). Oh GOB I found you a Mec 600 20 ga loader too..PM me. This was a pretty good haul from 2 yard sales. Oh, the broom rider did pretty good too. I'm glad I let her talk me into goin this time..Hey I bought some traps too. Double spring traps for coon etc. Guy actually has a bear trap I may go back and buy. Smaller.... not for a big grizz. Bit spensive though...he wants 200 for it...the ones I bought were 2 bucks each. And while travelin around last week I found an encore bbl from the custom shop with an Elite 3200 Bushy on it. Had to buy it as it was in 218 Bee and cost 225. One of the sets of yard sale dies is...yep..218 Bee. Yippee And I got a couple lbs of Lil Gun Powder at the yard sale Yippee Ki Yay and I got 200 Hornady 40 gr V maxs. Yippee Ki Yay ki Yo. That was for Gene

Can't believe the things you find at garage sales. You do very well, here's it kids clothing and furniture. I did manage to pick up 2 decent 16 SxSs, they came looking for me instead of me looking for them.

The items aren't always in the yard sale. If they have anything looks like it may be gunny or hunting even fishing related I always ask. Not for guns..for hunting things..ammo reloading decoys whatever. Once the conversation is entered..watch out. Stuff comes outta the woodwork. The guns in this yard sale were not inthe sale..but the people were moving into a duplex er somethin..Hate duplexes ..or townhomes but they are good for me. LOL. And I took it all. That makes a BIG difference. What I don't need goes on the auction block. I just bought a few chain saws.Estate sale. ALL of 'em run fine after a little seafoam and new gas. The ones I don't want are going in a consignment auction first of Oct. Going to take 6 of 'em to the place and replace em with 2 new saws. Bad times is comin... Even my bank guy thinks so..Anthey never talk gloom and doom.
