Don't Know to Laugh or Cry

In my block, we have had massive misdeliveries of mail. Guy next door took it on himself to write a complant letter to Littleton, Co Postmaster. Yesturday, he recieved a reply from postal inspectors.....reason I know..........it was in my mail box and I walked it over to Monte.....

Well on the 16th of August we received a piece of mail inviting the witch to a Jewelry party on the 2nd of August.(whew dodged that bullet). Get this..it was mailed on the 28th of July from the post office that I can see from my house..It's only 2 miles away by road..mile and a half by straight line....but about 300 ft lower in elevation. This is a common occurance here. I don't dare complain..they might get someone else who is just a bit...worse?? Entirely possible in Wy.

Dan I love the way you put it though..think ol monte will let 'em know where their answer went to?? NAWWW..he wouldn't tell 'em how he REALLY feels ...would he?? hahahahaha I love it

If we raise the price to mail a letter may be we can find a postman that can read for Dan.

That why they need to raise the price of postage, to cover the cost of delievering a letter to 4 or 5 house.

Where I moved from 2yrs ago, I paid no less than 4 visits to postmaster. My neighbor use to get my maill all the time and at other times, neighbors would exchange each others mail. I once had mail found on the street in the next town undelivered. Post master just say, what, you never make mistakes at your job? NO..and he didn't like the suggestion of flipping burgers at McD. Now since I moved, get others mail, and we have to drive to make the rural exchange. Mail man only said has 3 roads with 189 addy..so excuse me..da..wouldn't that make ya take a look at the next line?...oh and as stated above, postmaster said just imagine puttin my mailman in back to sort everyones..I hear is another stamp increase in the makings?...We should send a bill to the post office at their pay scale for our time delivering the mail?????

A while back I had an item that was correctly addressed first get delivered to a town on the other side of the county here in Michigan. Next it went to some place in New York state. And finally back to my PO Box. It was mailed from 20 miles away. If I had been going that direction I would have stopped at the sellers and picked it up. Thank god the shipper had it packaged well.

I live in a small town and we are lucky to have great people working in our little post office. Our postmistress goes beyound the call of duty all the time.
