FROST has arrived in PA.

For the last several nights we have covered our tender vegatation. We picked 110 pounds of nearly ripe tomatoes from our 48 plants before the frost. Our butternut squash were also picked. It is the end of another growing season here on the farm.

Still no frost here..but waaayyy too many deer...but something is hanging around at night and a few young deer have disappeared..Dogs are scared..might be a wolfie or a big kitty cat. Bettin on the wolfie though. The cats are usually scared of the dogs This time last year it was well below zero and we had frozen maters
