Don't know if to laugh or cry?

Took my Mauser .308 with my Leupold(the one I had built),
my MR-7 30-06with the used Weaver CV9,
and my CVA Wolf to the range this Columbus day.

The Mauser didn't want to cooperate, the CVA will need customer service. But look and see what the MR-7, one of my oldest rifles did, with a used older scope. I think I will wait to tweak the Mauser after deer season.

Nothing you can do but smile! That's great shooting and a 1/2" group from any gun is something to be proud of.

I guess you could do both. I`ve been there, when you take out a few gun with hig expections from some and they reall let you down and the one expect nothing from shines like a star. I`m feeling like that too. I have 2 rifles shooting like that at 100 yrds., but at 700 yrds. the groups are opening up more than I want, 7 to 8 in groups and that`s enough to miss coyotes. Keep after them and you`ll get there with all of them.
