Coyote and fox help

I'm looking for help on witch gun I shuld buy for hunting fox and coyotes.
Another question is what call I shuld get. I was looking at the foxpro spitfire for 200. Is that a good deal?
Last question is where and when I shuld hunt I live about 30 minuets north of St. Paul MN.
Please help me I really need it.

I carry an accurized Mini-14 or my AR-15 on the farm and the 223 is bad medacine for the yote sized critters. But so far I have not actually set about hunting fox or yotes directly, I just shoot them when given half a shot. I have seen a few, at a distance and always in 5th gear, they always see me on the equipment before I see them.

I think that hunting them in my case might not be real productive in any case as I own a tree farm and I do not have anything like a good clear shot, pastures, etc. I might go to locking snares as they are legal here. The locking snare allowes the cought critter to be released if you should catch a pet. But it will hold a fox or yote until you get to it. You can build them pretty cheap and the critter can not get out until you let them go. One stop at the Ace hardware and a tackle shop and you cam make locking snares until the cows come home.
