The February THAW is due tomorrow!

We have had snow on the ground since December 5, 2010. It was -2 degrees at sunup today here in Northcentral PA. Tonight the low will be +20 degrees and it will go to the 40s and be sunny for the next 5 days. It has been a long Winter and now there is much range time to log on the backyard bench with loyal hound, Lori.

I casted up buckets of roundball and maxis for the frontloaders. I got an RCBS chronograph for Christmas and a neat tripod stand to set the chrony up in front of my bench in a way to also be able to shoot at 100-yard targets from the bench. The 40 degree weather will be like Summer after the -12 degrees we had 10 days ago.

All the muzzleloaders are tuned up and ready to go. I have a Polaris Ranger to run down range to check/change targets. I have a few small priming horns and possibles bags I made over Winter to break in. What is not to like?

Adam

We are burried still. Weather is calling for 40-50 from Wednesday thru the weekend. Hopefully it will take away a lot of the white stuff. Have been shooting inside and really looking foward to getting outside.
