The Reverse Angle

I am sure all of you have been watching the debate over the budget cuts in the Congress. As I listened to the arguments and the Fed Reserve Chairman's estimate of jobs lost, it occurred to me, if we cut 62 Billion with a B and it costs the country 100,000 jobs just what happens if you reverse the process and divide 62 Billion by 100,000 to figure the amount each job is costing us as taxpayers. Well the number is just $620,000 per year, now that is a sporty salary in anyone's book. So I thought, well how about if the job loss is twice that amount say 200,000 jobs lost, well now we get to a much more reasonable salary, just 310,000 a year. Frankly, I think the Democrats have lost their ever loving minds.

By the US Census, the median income in the US for 2008-2009 was 49,945 Now if we just write a few checks, say a check for $50,000 how many "jobs" can we create at 62 Billion. We could really be "saving" money and putting money into the economy after 1,240,000 people (that is 1 1/4 million "Jobs")get a check! Course we have not addresses the estimated 500 Billion, with a B in duplicate offices getting paid and dolling out Billions. Now if we chopped the 500 Billion in waste and wrote a check, how many jobs, oh my what savings ......... I have a novel idea, cut 562 Billion in spending and let the employers hire more people.

O BS now wants to sue Florida for refusing to spend Federal Billions for a high speed rail project. Now for that small tid bit of info that you were not told; that the voters in Florida had the HS rail project on the 2004 state ballot and it was voted down by a 64-36% margin. It was not needed or proven to be even remotely close to cost effective. It can not be maintained and operated at the revenue levels generated. But who cares what a state wants or needs, right? O BS the magnificent and the DNC know all. Well some of us have had a gut full of this and are now just waiting on 2012 to chop the rest of the snake into pieces. The job of 2010 is not finished yet.

Florida's D Senator, Bill Nelson, is serving his last term in office, that septic tank diving weasel and the King's royal boil sucker will be looking for a new pay check in December 2012 and Miami will not save him again.

Folks, if our congress is going to just spend money without regard for consequence, the wishes of the real tax paying people, or the negative effect of spending like drunken sailors, we have serious work to do in 2012.

Ed. Why don't you say how you really feel? Probably if you feel as I do and said it out loud, we'd both be in OB's Gulag.

What amazes me is how they blatantly defy the will of the people, then spin it so that the far lefties buy into this garbage. These guys have more backspin that a Harlem globetrotters basketball sheesh.
