still frost in the ground in my part of the state - road restrictions are still in effect.
I don't even think about planting my garden until the first week of June. Yeah, typical Wisconsin spring. |

We have had frost here in Oh. 2 times this May, that I can recall. It really makes a nice white vapor trail when you mow grass with frost on it. I think it`s all that globle warming.

Well, roofs were white this morning. Not cold enough to hurt my fully blossomed crab though.

Typical full moon.
Popplecop Same thing here on the other side of the big lake.
When I sat down to finally get a turkey to come to the call for my son Tuesday morning I was sitting in frost. I was dressed more for November deer hunting than spring turkey hunting. Good part is he got his tag filled with a good 2 year old. Thougt he missed with the explative after the shot. He had the gun on his upper arm instead of shoulder. Haven't seen the inevitable bruse yet. LOL Maybe I will start planting garden this week end after the full moon is past. Last edited by multibeard; 05-18-2011 at 09:21 AM. I sucked it up today and played golf in shorts and a t-shirt. High temp during the round was 44 degrees.
I'm tired of this stinkin' cold, rainy weather |

Spring?? Shoot yesterday we had 5 inches of snow at the gun show and a LOT more in the mountans. Rain at home and it's raining today here at home. Winter is gettin old. 45 as I type this. One day spring will get here. We've had double our annual rainfall in the last 2 weeks(7 1/2 inches in 2 weeks). Ground is still suckin it up though.

I work 35 miles from my house. Today, the temperature difference was 30 degrees: 45 at work, 75 at home. The sad part is I only get to spend about 3 hours a day at home.
