For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 KJV

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV

If you're Greek or Russian Orthodox, Easter usually comes a week later than the rest of the Christian calender, so you'd be early (except this year they fell on the same day!)

Personally, I'd just like to get a jump on things and wish everybody a happy 4th of July, Happy Halloween, Happy thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year......

Whew.........there, I should be covered for a while now!

GOB,

Happy Easter to you and all the other good folks on this site. I hope all worshipped at the church of their choice. I worshipped Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. My priest has placed me on the road to Ordination. Before long, I will be qualified to hear Confessions. Now that has to be scary.
