First Flintlock

Finally bought my first flintlock from the local gun shop. A Dixie Jaeger rifle made by Pedersoli. They are listed at 995.00 in my Dixie catalog, I paid 300.00 for it. Taking it to the range tomorrow for the first time, can't wait. Will get range reports soon.
Here's some pics:

Cool looking gun....rifled bore or smoothbore? What caliber (I'll guess .62?)

Looking forward to the range report and more photos.....

Johhn Reb,

Congradulations on getting a fine flintlock. Bring your range results and questions here because the guys have lots of smarts. I have a few flinters and will advise they take a bit more care than a caplock to keep firing.
