Yard sales etc..Replayed
On Friday I went to Riverton Wy to do a gun show. Well y'all know I am a yard sale junkie. Stopped at a yard sale in Worland and found a really neat Potter lead furnace. If you've ever seen one they are not really big but they worked. Bottom pour and only hold about 4 or 5 lbs of lead. Perfect for those single cavity moulds. Well the thing is in exc condition so I paid the 25 bucks they wanted. also got 3 bullet moulds for 5 bucks each..one was a Lyman 38 wadcutter..another was a brand new 160 gr Lyman Semiwadcutter and the last was a 44 cal 250 gr semiwadcutter. No handles but in the original boxes. Thunk I did good there. Well went down the road to Thermopolis and hit another yard sale and got me a nice Dillon Square Deal B progressive press in 9mm with a bunch of extras. They wanted a 100 bucks and got it for 75..Woulda tried to do a bit less but a bunch of guys were showing up when I was dickering..so I cut and run. They did give me a bag of about 500 once fired Winchester brass though. As for the gun show..oh my..that is another story..I made a bunch of deals and will post about it later.

Sometimes we have a good sday at the yard sales..sometimes it's all kids toys and clothes..I also got a McCoy pottery vase..Small one but worth at least 25-30 bucks in perfect shape too. Paid a quarter..and didn't try to dicker that one down. My wife(the broom rider) collects that stuff. She probably has 30,000 bucks worth in her collection. Now if I can convince her to sell 'em and invest in some guns..I'll be in tall cotton
