Leather Possibles Bag for Fifteen Cents!

I collect Possibles Bags at yard sales and give many away to new muzzleloader folks. Today was a BONUS day. I found a big yard sale nearby and bought a French Fry Maker for $5.00. It is a gizmo with great mechanical advantage that stands about 2 feet high and the subject potato about softball size is forced down through a sharp grate thingy that renders cut french fries.

As I was leaving I saw a group of purses hanging from a rack. One leather purse caught my ML eye because it was obviously all leather with a long shoulder strap. It is a Tignanello Bag with a 25-cent price tag. I rendered the two-bit price and at home found a dime in the front pocket! Walla! I have a leather Possibles Bag for 15 cents, what is not to like? What a Country?

I will use this bag, after two coats of brown polish, to replace my first purse/possibles bag that has just been worn out after 31 years of use. Cabela's has leather possibles bags in the $65-$90 range. I think 15 cents for my bag leaves some slack for more powder, flints and stuft.

GOB & Johnny Reb,

I did TOO GOOD of a job with the brown polish business. My significant other has taken the purse for her usage. As a consellation prize, I get to make 5 pounds of French Fries on the new gizmo for tonight's cookout here at the farm.

I have about a dozen other possibiles bags to hunt with this October.
