10 years ago today 3000+ souls lost in a hateful act. I will never forget.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 KJV

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004

I have been avoiding coverage of the event on the TV......I've already lived through it once, and I really don't want to have to live through it again in all it's graphic detail.....It is etched clearly in my mind, and I, too, will never forget.

One of the reporters was asking people what they remember most from 9/11.....I wish the would have asked me. What do I remember most from 9/11 that stands out most in my mind? That not ONE single Islamic cleric bothered to decry the events perpetrated in the name of their 'peaceful' religion....not ONE!!! Not here in the States, or abroad. I do remember clerics saying that we should have expected it and accept it for our relationship with Israel. I remember a member of the Saudi royal family saying that we got what we deserved, then offering a huge some of money to help the 9/11 victims in NY (Mayor Gulianni turned him down....I'm sure most diplomatically; I wouldn't have been so kind).
Anyway.....that's what I remember....and won't forget!
