Well I done done it again
Went to the local pawn and gun.. Guy that owns it gave me a card with a fellows name and phone. He had a Contender frame and parts to sell. So I called. Guy had a nice frame with grip..forend and a new in package forend and a Burris scope mount and rings. Bought the darn thing for a very fair price...I only have about 30 bbls and 4 other frames. While talking with him I ended up getting another gun It was a really neat one..an 870 Remington... made in 1969 Standard weight 20 ga slug gun. In exc condition too..Paid him 375 got both..and as I was getting ready to leave he said wait a minute..left and came back in with an extra field bbl for the 870..Plain bbl but I thunk I did good on the deal. The 870 is kinda hard to come up with in a 20 ga rifle slug gun...especially one in the 12 ga frame..they only made it for 5 yrs or so.. In Wyoming you don't usually find too many good shotgun bargains..but the ironic thing was..the guy was originally from Hagerstown in Md.. Fabs knows where that is. Auction with guns in it tomorrow..One in it I'd like to buy
