I hate going to gun shops
I stopped in to chat with a few friends that work in a great local gun shop. I spotted a Savage 110 on the used gun rack. It is a 7mm Rem Mag.and has a detachable clip. The walnut stock is beautiful and it has Leupold bases and rings holding as BSA 3-9X scope. The hang tag said $249, but they are having a sale and deducted $50. I brought it home with me. Like I said, I hate going to gun shops. Take care...

Joe,
Sight in that 7mmRM this weekend and sit in a stand on this farm opening morning. My trail cameras tell me we have a few doe and a nice buck calling this place home. I do not shoot does and go out opening day to keep the HUMPS off my farm. As for the buck, well, I'll decide opening day. Adam

I agree that gunshops hereabouts are priced very high for used guns. My best deals come out of our weekly "Penny Saver" newspaper. Private sales are best, IMHO. "Cold Pieces" are worth 4 or 5 times the prices in gunshops, but go for less than shop prices. Go for COLD, when there is an option. Adam
