Doc Watson Gone
Some of you are Country/Folk/Bluegrass music fans. Yesterday in NC, 8 time Grammy winner and guitar playing legend Doc Watson passed. Doc was 89 years old when he passed as a result of complications after surgery. He played multiple instruments, was blind since the age of one and developed several styles of playing that were copied by many guitar players. His guitar "Hoss" is on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and of the top 100 recordings of all time his double album with other guitar greats is listed as 11 and 12.
RIP Doc, Ed
