Looking for a old war movie.
Ok I know this is not much to go on, but I remember seeing a old war movie as a kid. In the movie Allied soldiers were sneaking into a Nazi Castle. When they entered the window one of them found a square bear trap setup around a stone trigger in the floor.
It isn't Where Eagles Dare (watched that again last night) Any ideas? Thanks GoodOlBoy

A square bear trap, only in the movies. Worked with leg hold traps for bear during my tenure as a game warden both leg hold and live traps for bear. Both effective depending on set up. Never saw a square leg hold though.

When I first read this question, the immediate memory was Indiana Jones. I let it rest and came back to the question and the same response hit me. But this time it occurred to me that it may have been in the movie with Sean Connery as the father. There was a good bit of that movie in a castle occupied by Nazi troops, Gestapo types, etc.
In the series there were several things that were just thrown in for fun, with little connection to reality. Sorta like Jollywood and its connection to O'Bozo with the fun removed.  Ed

Nope not the dirty dozen (watched that one again this weekend), and not Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade either...... hrmmmmm dangit this one has been bugging me for weeks.
