I love alot of country and bluegrass (and old moonshine running music). A bit of old blues and jazz, a smidgen of rock and classical. And rat pack music.

Lately I have been listening to a few of Hank III's songs. a few of them are not bad.

I like "real" music. That means I am not fond of the modern music that is judged by its volume. Give me actual classical instrumentals when I am working in the shop and vocals
at other times.

I am not hard to please, I just like the best. First you kick Punk and Rap to the curb, sorry but that crud just ain't getting it, and listen for the best of the rest and that is my taste. Most of who I like are in one Hall of Fame or the other or are recognized around the world as the greats.

This past Sunday (7/15) the wife and I went to see the Beach Boys at Harveys outdoor ampitheater at Lake Tahoe. They played 48 songs. Sounded like we were listening to a CD. Very professional.. I'm an old
1960's surfer from Malibu and grew up with the BB's.
I like rock n roll, country, classical, blues, jazz, not into rap and some newer music.

You would like the "Concert Hall" in my home. The back three bedrooms and bathrooms are separated from the main house by a long hallway running the width of the house. My wife and I tried to figure out what to do with the hallway to decorate it. One day we had a vision and we started having our long kept concert items framed and we put them on the walls, top to bottom, on both sides. Her prize display is her tickets and the photos she took at the last concert that Elvis did in Memphis, a three frame display. She sat in the 3rd row up front. My prize is a little green ticket stub dated Feb 1957. It is from the Buddy Holley concert in West Palm Beach, FL. The stage was a wood platform sitting up on two concrete blocks with one block as a step. I sat in the grass right at the edge of the stage, in front, I could reach out and touch the stage. Phil Everly's guitar string hit me when it broke in mid song.

Great memories those concerts.
