What did you expect from Hitbama.
Start with a particular firearm and then move on to the assult shot guns and on and on.
This idiot in CO just gave him an excuse to go after the law obiding majority and the votes of the uninformed. My Win model 100's are concidered assult rifles by many simply because they are semi autos. Like Heston said they will get them over my dead body.

I expected the "Chimp" to go for assault weapons. My ONLY question to him would be: "How would your proposed assault weapon controls have affected the Aurora, Colorado theater shooter?" I understand it was a gun free zone for ONLY honest citizens. Adam

I haven't shot an assult rifle since in the 50s when I was issued an M2 Carbine in Korea. Do own an AR, but is semi auto only.

Adam I about fell of my chair when I read the 'Chimp'...I as a kid did have a stuffed chimp and soon as I seen this guy on tv,...took me way back to childhood...ok..time to pick myself back up.....Chimp..great one....I still say that in the rears, they are setting up for a blast on our shells to shoot out of our 'legal to own' guns....nobody is watching that....I do own a lot of fancy 'tomato stakes'..if that happens.

LOL! I always saw the Chimpanzee hard at work destroying our nation after he got sworn in 3 years ago. The CHIMP is HARD at work reassuring his re-eletion in 2012 so he can finally make us the Peoples Republik, in my humble opinion. Here in PA the new voter ID law requires a photo ID to vote. The Chimp's justice department is suing because "a million folks may not be able to comply." I find that amusing since they all can COMPLY for Welfare, Food Stamps, but is seems the folks in the cemeteries have as much right to vote as me and cannot get out of their graves and get a valid ID to vote as they used to do! WHERE Is ACORN when we need to ENSURE the CHIMP'S RE-ELECTION? Adam

Ain't no wonder about it. All the way confiscation.  After all Homeland Security just bought many rounds of ammo and I just read elsewhere where the army is getting riot gear and urban control training. What does that tell you?  Paul B.

Generally speaking, Mr. President, aren't most AK-47's (I assume he means the actual full-auto ones) in the hands of soldiers HOSTILE to your nation? Or did the standard U.S. Battle rifle change recently? :? Could someone tell me why most regulation and legislation is in the hands of people who: A) don't understand what they're talking about and B) aren't affected by it? Just curious...

The First Illegal Alien is simply dancing to his evil Master's tune - Soros pulls his strings, along with other UberLibs. They crave an undefended and unarmed populace to control. Another term of the kenyan would be devastating.
As to the "AK47", they lump ALL semiauto rifles under the same name - never mind the theater killer used an AR15 rifle.
