11 Year Aniversery With Hunt Chat

Noticed I just had an eleven year aniversery with being a member here yesterday. I've noticed a lot of names come and go in that 11 years, always wonder what has happened to them. Know that Nulle passed away, and do miss his postings. We seemed to have lost the posting of the fairer sex, which is too bad. Plan upon being here another 11 years hopefully.

Thumbs up

I also just pop in from time to time.
I first got 'online' in 2001 when I changed positions at work, and got to using the PC. First thing I looked for was the gun forums - a buddy had told me about them. Started with HC in 2008.
The Online experience is one thing that spurred me to replace my home Atari and Commodore with the shiney new PC!

Here's wishing HuntChat another decade!

popplecop,

I just noticed I have been here for 10 years already! It seem like the older Campfire crowd just hangs around. They are good company as we all age gracefully....

I would not have guessed 10 years for me as well, I spent a lot more time on these kind of forums when I was out of work for 8 months back in 2008 and 2009. I bet a lot of online web pages saw more traffic when more people were losing jobs.

I dunno how long I have been here, but I am glad the dark days of Mark O are waaayyyyy behind us.

Yeah ignore the June 2002 date in the upper right, my account was one lost during the great crash of '02. Been here longer than that.

If there was a crash in 2002, does that mean that my 2001 date may be wrong?

I don't think so popplecop, almost everybody who got wiped out in the crash got the June 2002 date afterwards. But you never know. If you remember there was more than one "fatal" crash around that era. From what I remember it was just before Petey managed to get full control from Mark O and set us back on the right path.
